Ostaco Green Windows

Width of the overall glass unit is 1 3/8" top rating in energy efficiency.

At Ostaco windows and Doors our engineers are continuously working to improve our already outstanding products and in doing so they have designed windows that are the benchmark for energy efficiency and elegance.  Whether it is one of our standard double pane window units or our new triple pane window, The Enersense, you can rest assured that our windows are head and shoulders above the competition. It is also worth noting that all of our windows are backed by CSA and Energy Star certification.  Below are a few options that make our windows what they are, the best in the industry!

Window Features:

  • Argon gas:
    • Improves window performance by reducing conductive and convective heat transfers. Essentially, this means the argon (90% guaranteed fill rate) will keep your house warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
  • Multi-Point Lock:
    • Will lock at 2 or 3 points depending on the size of the window. The Multi-point locking system provides a tighter seal and in turn provides resistance to water and air infiltration further improving energy efficiency.
  • Multi chambered Frame:
    • Ensures significant increases in strength and energy efficiency. Also, it should be noted that our vinyl walls are thicker than average which further contributes to increasing strength and energy efficiency.
  • Triple weather-stripping:
    • Provides the highest possible resistance to air and water infiltration.
  • Foam Filled Chambers (Enersense Exclusive):
    • Internal chambers of the vinyl frame are foam filled to increase insulation, resulting in significantly improved energy efficiency.
  • 1 3/8” Triple Pane Glass Pack (Enersense Exclusive):
    • 1 3/8” Triple pane glass pack is the optimum size for energy efficiency allowing the argon gas to work it’s hardest. In turn keeping your house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Glass Options:

  • LoE - 180 provides excellent insulating capability by blocking heat loss to the outside and reflecting heat back into the room. Furthermore, it's the ideal glass for passive solar applications because it allows the winter sun's heat to pass into the home.http://www.cardinalcorp.com/products/coated-glass/loe-180-glass/
